Week of March 3 (on time!)

This week has been kind of erratic, with school concerns edging in on my available CDOT time. I’m keeping my head above water, though. Anyway, this week in review:

  • Finished the BBB Accessibility documentation, so other BBB developers can build accessibility into their code from the ground up.
  • Started adding proper hotkey functionality to the Polling Module.
  • Fixed some permissions hiccups in other modules, such as preventing ordinary Viewers from using the hotkeys to access Presenter-only functionality by a backdoor and screw with the Presentation.

It doesn’t look like much written in bullet points, but now a hotkey-dependent user can create and launch (or save) a poll from start to finish. I need to resolve a small bug involving using a hotkey to go back and modify a poll, then I can proceed to adding functionality to the Statistics window. THEN, once all that is set, I can work on making the Voting window accessible. We are getting very, very close.
